Program:
We will have two plenary sessions. One will be by Steve Hansen, Ph.D. Steve is a past NCURA President and noted Lincoln historian. Our second plenary will be announced shortly.
Our Workshops will include:
- Proposal Writing Basics, Tips, and Tools: Helping Your Faculty Prepare Competitive Proposals
This interactive workshop will introduce participants to the basics of proposal development and writing, and offer tips and tools for helping faculty members prepare and submit competitive proposals.
- Compliance: You’re It!
This workshop will go into the hows, whys and what-nows of research compliance and will include examples, templates and other useful tricks and tools to help you and your office get into and stay in compliance. We’ll concentrate on PUIs and departments that might not have much central support, though the workshop should be useful to all.
- Administering Awards through Their Life Cycle—It Takes a Village to be Compliant
This workshop will provide participants with a basic framework of sponsored projects and award management from a variety of perspectives.
- A Day in the Life of a Post Award Financial Administrator
This workshop will focus on the daily operations of a Post Award Financial Administrator and managing the many facets of sponsored projects.
More program details will follow in the coming months.
