NCURA Region II Spring Meeting - April 27-29, 2008
"Bridging the Gaps Between Government, Industry, and Universities"
We hope you will join us in Pittsburgh for challenging workshops and a stimulating program.
The workshop offerings will put more tools in your toolbox for the basics and for working with subcontracts and non-traditional agreements:
The main program will launch on Monday with a stimulating panel discussion on the theme of the meeting moderated by Richard McCullough, Vice President for Research, Carnegie Mellon University, and featuring these expert panelists:
Another highlight of the meeting is a workshop titled "Train the Trainer" that will be offered Monday afternoon by Ronald J. Placone, Director of Learning and Development, Carnegie Mellon University. This workshop is offered for those individuals who want to improve their presentation skills. The Program Committee hopes that those who take the "Train the Trainer" workshop will volunteer to present at future NCURA meetings.
The Monday evening event will be a dinner cruise of the Three Rivers aboard a Gateway Clipper ship. The dinner cruise is included with the full meeting registration. The cost for a separate ticket for the dinner cruise only (for a guest or a day registrant) is $80. For more information on the Gateway Clipper Fleet, visit here.
